After much consideration and a thorough evaluation of the COVID-19 situation in South Carolina, as well as the rest of the country, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the Trigger’d Trade Show & Expo to Spring 2022

The measurable impact that this virus has made in recent months on our local communities, as well as the law enforcement community, has driven this decision. As of yesterday, South Carolina has topped the entire nation in COVID-19 cases per capita. In our region alone, we have lost three law enforcement officers to the virus, and we have seen both a 12-year-old and a 13-year pass due to complications in our state this week.

There was much discussion and ultimately, facts in the area led to this decision. Last week, COVID cases in South Carolina reached 31,458, over 2,100 are currently in the ICU, and over 230 of these leading to death. Schools have all moved to remote learning around GTI, and large corporations in the area are moving to essential staffing only. With all of these factors considered, we are anticipating more lockdowns and mandates to come from the South Carolina government this Fall, with the spike projected to continue through at least mid-September.

We want this show to be everything we’ve built it to be, without having to sacrifice aspects of the show due to the current pandemic. With that being said, we’re going to use the extra time to continue building out the event to make it bigger and better than ever before. We look forward to hosting an awesome event without being held back by restrictions and mandates. Stay tuned for more details and official event dates coming soon!
